Clarification of our role regarding U.S. visa assistance.

Last updated: 14 July 2024

Meowgration (a product of Visa Global OÜ) is a private, independent visa assistance service. This page clarifies our role and responsibilities specifically regarding U.S. visa applications.

We Are Not the U.S. Government

Meowgration is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy, USCIS, or any U.S. government agency. We are not a law firm or licensed immigration attorneys. We do not represent you before the U.S. government.

Our role is to assist you in understanding and preparing your visa documents, such as the DS-160 form, based on publicly available information and your input.

No Guarantee of Visa Approval

We do not guarantee that your visa will be approved. Visa decisions are made solely by U.S. consular officers, who evaluate your application based on U.S. immigration law and the information you submit.

Offering or implying guaranteed approval would violate U.S. legal and ethical standards — and we never do this.

Truthful Information Only

We work only with clients who intend to be fully honest in their application. We do not support or tolerate:

  • Submission of false or misleading information
  • Attempts to hide facts (e.g., immigration history or overstay)
  • Strategies to "game" the system
  • Creation of documents with fabricated ties or employment

If you request such services, we will refuse cooperation and may terminate your account immediately.

You Must Personally Sign Your Application

Under U.S. law (22 C.F.R. § 41.103), visa applicants must personally sign and submit their DS-160 application electronically — unless you are exempt (e.g., under age or physically unable).

  • Even if someone helps you complete the form, you must click the “Sign Application” button yourself.
  • Failing to do so may result in visa refusal.

Your Privacy & Rights

We comply with the U.S. Privacy Act of 1974 and respect your right to data protection. However, be aware that:

  • Your information submitted to U.S. embassies/consulates is shared within the U.S. government for immigration, security, and law enforcement purposes.
  • Once your DS-160 is submitted, you cannot edit it — be sure everything is correct.

For full details, see the U.S. Department of State Privacy Act Notice.

Ethics Statement

We are committed to ethical, lawful, and transparent assistance. Our goal is to simplify the process — not to manipulate outcomes.

By using our service, you agree to:

  • Submit only truthful information
  • Take full responsibility for what you submit
  • Not attempt to use our service for unlawful purposes
